Literature Text

I miss the way you said hello
when we saw each other everyday.
I miss the hugs in the morning
and the hugs when we parted ways.
I miss the weekend movies
with all of our closest friends.
Those were the days in my life
when I wished the happiness would never end.
I miss your cute smile and your terrible jokes
you shared with me many a times.
We were always so wrapped up in each other
and people always said our relationship was one of a kind.
I miss the late night talks we had
when we both felt scared and alone.
And the deep, life-changing conversations we shared
Every night over the phone.
I miss the way we'd goof around
when the teacher turned her back.
I miss the way you said, "I love you,"
and I miss the look on your face when I said it back.
But most of all I just miss you
and the times that we let be.
I wish I could tell you just one more time
that you meant the world to me.
I wrote cuz I miss someone who meant the world to me. He's gone now and I miss him...a lot.

I agree with DashBoardBoy very moving. But you got some great poetry here out of your sadness. I like the flow and ryhme to it!
